Deeply rooted in his Islamic faith, Alhaji Atipaga was a peacemaker and philanthropist, known for uniting people across religious divides and aiding the less fortunate.
“He has contributed to the growth of Islam in Paga. Through his influence and kindness, many converted to Islam.” Kumoriwo added.
For his family, the loss is deeply personal. Nashiru Atipaga, one of his sons, described him as a calm and dependable figure.
“He was s kind and calm person, a pillar who was always there for us and also for the community. We have really lost a pillar.”

In a moving tribute, the Paga Youth Movement (PAYOM) presented a posthumous citation celebrating his lifelong dedication to education, peace, and service.
“We will forever remember his tireless efforts in promoting education, community growth and social harmony. He was not only a true patriot of our land but a beacon and a role model who showed that greatness lies in service to others.” Said PAYOM’s Chairman, Wenawome Aborah.
