Navrongo Christ Apostolic Church bids farewell to Rev. Prince Asare after four years of service  

The service was marked by songs of praise, worship, heartfelt prayers, and moving testimonies that reflected on Rev. Asare’s four years of leadership and dedicated service to the congregation.

The Christ Apostolic Church in Navrongo (CAC), Upper East Region, on Sunday, September 14, held a colourful and spirit-filled send-off service in honour of its head pastor, Rev. Prince Asare, and his family.

The service was marked by songs of praise, worship, heartfelt prayers, and moving testimonies that reflected on Rev. Asare’s four years of leadership and dedicated service to the congregation.

Delivering the sermon at during the send-off service, Rev. Samuel Anaafi, Bolgatanga Area Head of the Church, commended Rev. Asare’s commitment to spiritual growth and transformation in the Navrongo District.

“Through his hard work and commitment, this place (Church Auditorium) was improved. The ceiling and floor are all done. This is the work of God through his servant, Rev. Prince Asare.”

Circuit Elder Robert Agbeko, while outlining the achievements of the outgoing minister, highlighted his instrumental role in the continuation of the Church Auditorium building project.

He also noted Rev. Asare’s contribution to building a six-unit classroom block and ancillary facility for the CASCOM School complex, and leading the school to achieve a 100 percent pass rate for its first batch of BECE candidates.

Rev. Asare was also notable for his weekly worship services with inmates at the Navrongo Central Prison, the establishment of church branches at Balobia and Punyoro, and his prudent management of church finances, which resulted in increased income generation.

Tributes also came from institutions outside the church. The Navrongo Central Prisons and the Ghana Police Service delivered special messages acknowledging Rev. Asare’s support for their work and the wider community.

Kassena-Nankana Municipal Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police Lawrence Adombire, stressed the importance of the church’s contribution to peace and community stability.

“The Lord Jesus gave the teaching on someone on the mountain, he said, ‘Happy are those who make peace, they are the children of God.’ I will say that, Reverend, God be with you. What God has used you to do here, he will grant you more strength and wisdom to continue in your next endeavour.” DSP Adombire said

In a speech delivered on behalf of the Navro-Pio, Pe Asagpaare Aneakwoah Balinia Adda II, his representative, Felix Kondayire, praised Rev. Asare’s selfless service to the church and community and wished him success in his next posting.

“As you move on to the next chapter of your life, may you continue to be steadfast and immovable, knowing that the seeds you have planted here will continue to bear fruit. On behalf of the chief, elders, and the people of Navrongo, I say thank you for your service.”

Taking his turn, Rev. Prince Asare expressed deep appreciation to the leadership and members of the Christ Apostolic Church in Navrongo for their unwavering support throughout his ministry in the area.

“I, my wife, and the entire family, as we are listening to all this goodwill and citations, we dedicate all this glory to God and we say may his name be praised forever and ever.”

Rev. Asare’s departure marks the end of a four-year chapter of impactful ministry in Navrongo, leaving behind a legacy of growth, unity, and dedication to the service of God and humanity. He will now move to Nsawam in the Eastern Region to continue his ministry.
