Former player of Tanga Football Club in Bolgatanga, Kenneth Mba, has been appointed as the head coach of a Division Two team in Upper East Region, Bolga Football Club, nicknamed “The Royals”.
Mba was an instrumental figure for Tanga FC, qualifying them from Division Two to Division One in the 2015/2016 league season interesting for the people of the Region.
Mba, a teacher by profession, holds a license D certificate in coaching after playing as a striker for the then Tanga FC, now Tanga SC.
He began his football career at the basic level at an Academy in Accra and later ended it at the Regional Division Two. He started as a development coach whose focus is on developing young talent and implementing an attractive brand of football.
He aims to make Bolga FC a force to be reckoned with in Upper East Football. He is to guide Bolga FC for the 2025/206 Division Two league season. The team looks set for an exciting new chapter.
