UE: Police urge public to identify unclaimed bodies, as Regional Hospital plans mass burial

The Upper East Regional Police Command has urged residents to visit the Upper East Regional Hospital morgue to identify and claim the bodies of deceased relatives before the facility proceeds with a scheduled mass burial.

According to the statement, the hospital intends to dispose of several unknown and unclaimed bodies currently being preserved at the morgue. The action is necessary due to limited storage space and the extended duration for which the bodies have remained unclaimed.
