Kassena-Nankana Municipal MCE Faustina Abulu encourages inmates to hold hope at Navrongo Prison
Addressing the inmates directly, she reminded them that their current circumstances do not define them.
Faustina Akeyeom Abulu, Municipal Chief Executive of the Kassena-Nankana Municipal Assembly, has delivered an uplifting message of love, kindness, and hope to inmates at Navrongo Central Prison.
Speaking during the 21st National Chocolate Day celebration organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority on February 14, the MCE expressed gratitude to the organizers for bringing joy to the prison community.
“We are here today to share love, to share kindness… We appreciate you for putting smiles into our inmates’ faces,” she said.
Addressing the inmates directly, she reminded them that their current circumstances do not define them.
“You are loved. You are kind, and you are important… This is not the end of your life. There is a life out there, and I pray and hope that when that day comes, your life will definitely change,” she added.
Abulu also acknowledged the absence of the regional minister, explaining that official duties in Accra prevented his attendance.
She highlighted the “resetting agenda” and expressed optimism about building a better Ghana together, calling for collective prayer and effort.
“To our dear inmates, remember you are not being forgotten. You are loved. You are cared for,” she said.
Her message reinforced the theme of hope, reintegration, and compassion, echoing the broader objectives of the National Chocolate Day event.
