In a heartwarming celebration of his 40th birthday, Samuel Nartey George, Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency and Minister-designate for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, made a significant impact on his community by donating medical equipment and funds to several local health facilities and an orphanage.
Accompanied by his wife, parents, constituency executives, and supporters from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), George visited the Prampram Polyclinic, Prampram Health Centre, and the Hearts of the Father Orphanage at Old Ningo. His donations included essential medical equipment such as Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) equipment, phototherapy units, incubators, radiant warmers, autoclaves, automatic sterilizers, and blood pressure machines.
In addition to the equipment, George also presented GH¢10,000.00 each to the Prampram Polyclinic and Prampram Health Centre to support their operations. He further showed his generosity by giving GH¢2,000.00 and a hamper to each of the five new mothers at the health facilities. At the orphanage, he donated food items, confectioneries, sanitation supplies, and a cash amount of GH¢10,000.00 to support the care of the children.
Dr. Alexander B. Addah, the Medical Superintendent of the Prampram Polyclinic, expressed deep appreciation for George’s gesture, noting that the donations would significantly enhance the quality of healthcare provided to the community. The MP’s commitment to improving healthcare and supporting vulnerable populations was evident in his thoughtful contributions.
