Chiana-Paga NDC Lauds President Mahama’s DCE Nomination
In a congratulatory statement, dated April 5, 2025, the party said Stephen Aeke Akurugu's nomination is a "well-deserved nomination".
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Chiana-Paga Constituency has welcomed President Mahama’s District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee for the Kassana-Nankana West District, describing the nomination as an affirmation of the President’s commitment to youth empowerment and recognition of party loyalty.
In a congratulatory statement, dated April 5, 2025, the party said Stephen Aeke Akurugu’s nomination is a “well-deserved nomination”.
The statement signed by Constituency Communication Officer, Stephen Avoyam further said, “His nomination is a recognition of commitment, tireless advocacy and outstanding leadership in championing the welfare of the youth.”
Akurugo currently serves the party as an Other Youth Representative in the constituency. His nomination is subject to approval from the District Assembly at a yet-to-be announced date.
