Ghanaians urged to embody the spirit of Easter for nation building

The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs has called on Ghanaians to renew their spirit of nation-building as they celebrate Easter.
In an Easter message dated April 18, 2025, the ministry extended its Easter felicitations to Ghanaians at home and abroad.
The statement, signed by the sector minister, Ahmed Ibrahim, admonished Ghanaians to inculcate the values of unity, love, and service for a peaceful nation.
“The Ministry encourages all citizens to reflect deeply on the enduring values of unity, love, and service to humanity, which are at the heart of the Easter celebrations. Let us use this opportunity to renew our collective commitment to building resilient, inclusive, and peaceful communities across the country.” The statement reads.
The statement further urged celebrants to do so moderately and with respect for each other.
Christians celebrate Easter around the world to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
