Joseph Bangu takes over as new Executive Director of NABOCADO

Bishop Agyenta urged the new Executive Director to uphold the tenets of discipline, faith, and humanity in accordance with the standards preached by the Catholic Church.

Th Catholic Bishop of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese, Most Reverend Alfred Agyenta has inducted Development Practitioner, Joseph Bangu as the new Executive Director of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Catholic Diocesan Development Organization (NABOCADO).

Prior to his appointment, Bangu was the Director of Good Governance, Justice and Peace at NABOCADO.

Bishop Alfred Agyenta, at a short induction ceremony held on Wednesday April 30, urged the new Executive Director to uphold the tenets of discipline, faith, and humanity in accordance with the standards preached by the Catholic Church.

Bangu takes over from Joseph Ayembilla, who has served the organisation for over 30 years in various capacities.

Bishop Agyenta in his remarks  eulogized the outgone Executive Director for his tireless and selfless service, which has seen the organization grow from strength to strength, impacting the lives of people both within and outside the Diocese.

NABOCADO is a Catholic faith-based organisation that has been dedicated to promoting rural development since its establishment in 1981, operating across sectors including Health Service, Education, Livelihood and Advocacy, and Good Governance, Justice and Peace in the 15 administrative districts of the Upper East Region and 6 districts in the Northern-East Region.
