Mahama’s achievements will secure victory for NDC in 2028 – Janet Ayiture

She attributes this confidence to President John Dramani Mahama's leadership and commitment to national development.

Janet Ayiture, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Team in the Chiana-Paga Constituency, is optimistic about the party’s prospects in the 2028 general elections.

She attributes this confidence to President John Dramani Mahama’s leadership and commitment to national development.

Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show, on April 9, 2025, Ayiture praised the president’s efforts in restoring hope among Ghanaians.

“With what the president is doing, it doesn’t matter who leads us in 2028, we are going to win with a landslide magnitude,” she stated.

Ayiture was commenting on the recent Global InfoAnalytics survey, which shows that 66% of Ghanaian voters rate President Mahama’s performance highly.

She said the high ratings of the president and public trust were because of his efforts in promoting transparency and accountability, particularly through anti-corruption initiatives such as the Operation Recover All Loot initiative.

She also stated another factor court public trust for the government, is its response to public outcry for the removal of the controversial electronic levy and betting tax.

She maintained that all of these interventions showed that the government was working in the good interest of the people.

“From the budget, E-levy, betting tax and other taxes were removed. All these speak of the good works of the president,” Ayiture remarked.

Ayiture, therefore, urged Ghanaians to rally behind President Mahama to help him fulfill his campaign promises.
