Paga Japan stars banned from home ground over assault of referee
The association, in a statement, said the ban is to pave way for a full-blown investigation into the physical and verbal assault of a centre referee by supporters of Paga Japan Stars on February 15, 2025.

The Upper East Region Football Association has placed a temporary restriction on the use of the Paga Town Park, by Paga Japan Stars in the ongoing matches of the Our Region Second Division League.
The association, in a statement, said the ban is to pave way for a full-blown investigation into the physical and verbal assault of a Centre Referee by supporters of Paga Japan Stars during a home match on February 15, 2025.
The statement said the action of the supporters is against the rules and regulations of the game.
The association, therefore, condemned the assault and assured all participants its commitment to ensure the safety of all stakeholders during games.
