Zebilla: Former NDC PC aspirant donates mathematical sets to BECE candidates
The donation, according to him, aims to assist final-year Junior High School students as they sit for their exams in June.
Nelson Ndebah Ndebugri, a former parliamentary candidate aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Zebilla Constituency, has donated mathematical sets to support students preparing for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Bawku West District.
The donation, according to him, aims to assist final-year Junior High School students as they sit for their exams in June.
On Monday, May 19, 2025, Ndebugri presented a total of 1,500 mathematical sets to be distributed across 59 Junior High Schools in the district.
“This annual donation of mathematical sets is to motivate them [Students]to write their BECE, hoping that they pass with flying colours,” Ndebugri remarked during the presentation to the Education Directorate.
James Ayamweogo, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bawku West, welcomed the donation and expressed appreciation for Ndebugri’s consistent support in the areas of education, provision of potable water, and youth empowerment. He also called on other well-meaning individuals to contribute to the district’s development.
Ndebugri has made similar contributions consistently in the past four years through his Ndeba Foundation, reaffirming his commitment to improving education in the district.
