Community Life Bible College set to admit new cohort in June 2025

With a mission to equip men and women for Christian ministry, the college offers a dynamic, structured curriculum that caters especially to pastors and church leaders, many of whom may lack formal theological education.

Community Life Bible College, a non-denominational theological training institution in Navrongo, has announced the opening of admissions for a new cohort of students set to begin in June 2025.

The college, which operates under the umbrella of Strategic Community Ministries (SCM) in collaboration with Community Life Church in the United States, has become a beacon of biblical training since its establishment in 2013 by the late Dr. Stephen Aputara.

With a mission to equip men and women for Christian ministry, the college offers a dynamic, structured curriculum that caters especially to pastors and church leaders, many of whom may lack formal theological education.

The program is delivered in three semesters per academic year; June, September, and April, offering flexibility for employed individuals.

Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Thursday, May 29, Rev. Anthony Akabikire Akansake, a graduate and now a pastor, emphasized the accessible design of the program.

“Our academic year is structured in three semesters, June, September, and April, making it flexible for people who are employed to still participate in the program,” he explained.

Rev. Akansake also stated that the curriculum was developed in partnership with Training Leaders International, an organization known for creating contextually relevant theological training for church leaders around the world.

The three-year program comprises nine core subjects spread across the years:

Year 1

Knowing God, Scripture, and Ourselves.

Knowing the Bible’s Story.

Understanding and Communicating Narrative and Law (Genesis–Exodus).

Year 2

Understanding and Communicating the Gospels.

Understanding and Communicating Poetry.

Understanding and Communicating Letters.

Year 3

Understanding and Communicating Prophecy.

Understanding and Communicating Apocalyptic Writing (Revelation).

Doing the Ministry of the Word.

Rev. David Ajedewe Kazue.

Rev. David Ajedewe Kazue, a fellow graduate and current facilitator at the college, noted that the curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Bible and pastoral ministry, with a strong emphasis on Christ-centered teaching.

Another alumnus, Pastor Clement Adawina, shared his testimony of transformation after graduating in 2018.

“I’ve been a pastor since 2013, but graduating from the Community Life Bible College in 2018 opened my eyes to the full narrative of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, it’s all about Jesus Christ,” he shared. “The training helped my ministry significantly, and I’m now pastoring a church in Tampola.”
