NPP Chiana-Paga appoints eight constituency officers to strengthen party structure

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Chiana-Paga Constituency has appointed eight party members to key constituency positions as part of efforts to strengthen its organisational structure and reposition the party ahead of future political activities.

The appointments were announced in a communiqué issued by the Constituency Executive Committee following a meeting held on Friday, July 17, in accordance with Article 7, Clause 11 of the party’s constitution.

The newly appointed officers are:

– Simon Awinnaba Aputara – Financial Secretary
– Hilary Aniakwo – Research Officer
– Edmund Anyoka Aninga – Electoral Affairs Officer
– Christopher Logojoori Choro – Deputy Organiser
– Jamilatu Abakuri – Deputy Women Organiser
– Godwin Bapoli – Deputy Youth Organiser
– Sumaila Apigsiya – Deputy Nasara Organiser
– Charles Abami – Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Coordinator.

According to the communiqué, the appointments were made within the constitutionally required 14-day period following the election of the constituency executives and in consultation with the Regional Executive Committee.

The Constituency Executive Committee said the newly appointed officers are expected to work closely with the elected executives and the wider party structure to promote unity, inclusiveness and effective grassroots mobilisation.

It noted that the appointments form part of efforts to rebuild and reposition the NPP in the Chiana-Paga Constituency while strengthening the party’s organisational capacity.

The committee congratulated the appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to serve the party with dedication, commitment and cooperation in pursuit of a stronger and more united constituency.

The communiqué was signed by the Constituency Secretary, Desmond Ayambire Abire, on behalf of the Constituency Chairman, Harisu Braimah.
