CK T UTAS governing council sets June 2025 for 5th graduation ceremony

The university, previously, could not hold the graduation due to the lack of a governing board mandated to award degrees to graduating students.

The CK Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS) has officially announced that its 5th Graduation Ceremony will be held in June 2025, following a directive from the Chairman of the University’s Governing Council.

The university, previously, could not hold the graduation due to the lack of a governing board mandated to award degrees to students who have completed their courses.

In a formal communication issued to the university community, it was confirmed that students who have successfully completed their academic programmes and are awaiting graduation can request early release of their certificates.

The University, however, stated that this early release of certificates is contingent upon the payment of graduation fees.

The University stated that this decision aims to accommodate graduates who may need their certificates for employment or further studies ahead of the ceremony.

The official communication on the graduation date by the university brings to rest concerns by students regarding delays in their graduation. The Student Representative Council of the university had earlier given the school management an ultimatum to resolve the issues, or they will hit the streets in protests.
