Isaac Adongo commences free dry-season tractor ploughing services for Bolgatanga Central Farmers
Isaac Adongo deploys four tractors to provide free land preparation services for farmers across Bolgatanga Central, beginning with Yikene, Kulbia and Amogrebisi electoral areas.
The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo has commenced a free dry-season tractor ploughing programme to support farmers in the constituency as preparations gather momentum for the dry-season farming period.
The initiative, which seeks to reduce the cost of land preparation and boost agricultural productivity, has already commenced in the Yikene, Kulbia and Amogrebisi electoral areas, where farmers are benefiting from free tractor ploughing services.
According to the organisers, four tractors have been deployed to ensure wider coverage and facilitate the timely preparation of farmlands across the constituency.
The tractors are expected to extend operations to the remaining electoral areas as the programme progresses.
The intervention forms part of Adongo’s broader efforts to support farmers, enhance food production and improve agricultural livelihoods in Bolgatanga Central.
Farmers in the remaining electoral areas have been encouraged to prepare their lands and liaise with the designated coordinators to facilitate the smooth implementation of the programme.
The Communication Officer for Bolgatanga Central, Job Aboyom, announced the commencement of the initiative.
