The Ghana Senior National Football team will on Friday March 21, 2025 host the Les Sao of Chad in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Stars aim to increase points ahead of group leader Comoros, who sits at the top of the group table with nine points and four goals advantage, while the Black Stars take the second position with nine points and  two goals advantage.

Chad, however, sits at the button of the six teams group with zero points after recording four straight loses in their qualifying campaign.

Ghana’s Head Coach, Otto Addo has assembled a 23- man squad, which will be captained by skipper, Jordan Ayew, for Friday’s game and a subsequent match against Madagascar on Monday March 24, 2025, to be played in Morocco.

Arsenal Midfielder, Thomas Partey and Southampton FC’s Kamal Deen Sulemana return to the Black Stars squad after missing Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers last year due to injury.

The stars are expected to reignite Ghanaians’ love for the team after failing to qualify for the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco later this year.
