The Founder, Rev. Fr. Albert Bawe Wugaa, whose life story inspired the founding of the school, shared his personal journey of struggle and triumph through education.

Born in a modest community with limited access to schools, Fr. Wugaa recalled how he once walked long distances to attend classes. His turning point came when the late Bishop Oscar Abadamloora saw potential in him and sponsored his studies in the United States. That opportunity, Fr. Wugaa said, changed his life forever.

“I was sent abroad to study because someone believed in me. So now, I must believe in others too, especially children who may be struggling just as I once did” He shared.

He founded Bishop Abadamloora RC Primary and JHS in honour of the late Bishop, determined to give back to the community that raised him and to ensure that no child is left behind because of poverty or circumstance.

With the help of compassionate donors from the USA, Fr. Wugaa’s vision of an accessible and nurturing educational environment has become a reality for children in Banyono and surrounding areas. The school continues to grow, providing a beacon of hope and opportunity to the next generation.

The durbar closed with joyful dancing, heartfelt exchanges, and renewed commitments from local authorities and stakeholders to sustain the impact of the donors’ contributions.
