Builsa North Presiding Member donates medical supplies to Kadema Health Center

The donation includes essential medicines and medical supplies, is aimed at improving healthcare delivery at the facility and addressing some of its immediate needs.

The Presiding Member for the Builsa North Municipal Assembly and Assembly Member for the Banyansa-Gadem Electoral Area, Robert Akpara Agaab, has donated assorted drugs and non-drug consumables worth thousands of cedis to the Kadema Health Center.

The donation includes essential medicines and medical supplies, is aimed at improving healthcare delivery at the facility and addressing some of its immediate needs.

Speaking during the presentation on Tuesday, Agaab explained that the gesture followed an appeal by the officer in charge of the facility, who raised concerns about shortages of essential supplies.

He noted that, with the support of the Member of Parliament for Builsa North, James Agalga, contacts were made to friends and philanthropists.

He urged the staff of the health center to ensure the proper and effective use of the items, adding that he remains committed to supporting the facility and would work to secure more assistance in the future.

Receiving the items on behalf of the facility, the officer in charge, Awaafo Lawrence Apam, expressed profound gratitude to the assembly member for what he described as a timely intervention.

He assured that the drugs and consumables would be used strictly for their intended purposes to benefit patients and improve service delivery while also appealing for continued support to enhance healthcare services at the facility.
