Navrongo MP Simon Aworigo ranked best-performing MP in Upper East, places fourth nationally
Global InfoAnalytics survey places Simon Akibange Aworigo first in the Upper East Region and fourth nationwide, with 74 percent of respondents rating his performance positively.
The Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central Constituency, Simon Akibange Aworigo has been ranked the best-performing MP in the Upper East Region and fourth nationally in the latest Global InfoAnalytics Constituency Performance Survey.
According to the survey, 74 percent of respondents in the Navrongo Central Constituency rated the MP’s performance as “excellent, very good, good,” placing the constituency at the top of the rankings in the Upper East Region and fourth nationwide among the 83 constituencies surveyed.
The findings indicate strong public approval of the MP’s performance in representation, development initiatives, and responsiveness to constituents.
The survey assessed Members of Parliament based on four categories: excellent, very good, good, average, poor, very poor, and no opinion.
The results show that only 7 percent of respondents rated the MP’s performance as Average, while 18 percent described it as poor, very poor. one percent of respondents expressed no opinion.
Nationally, Navrongo Central trailed only three constituencies, making it the fourth highest-rated constituency in the country in terms of public satisfaction with parliamentary performance.
The latest ranking is expected to reinforce the MP’s standing among constituents and highlights the constituency’s recognition in the national assessment of parliamentary performance.
