Angels of Excellence Montessori School in Navrongo has opened admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year, inviting parents and guardians to enroll their children at the institution.
The school, founded by the Principal of Mount Mary College of Education, Professor Kennedy Alatinga, admits children from the Creche, Nursery, KG1, KG2 and Basic One levels.
Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Wednesday, September 9, Prof. Alatinga said the school adopts the Montessori approach to education, which emphasizes practical, child-centred and hands-on learning.
He explained that the approach enables children to learn by doing while developing independence, creativity and problem-solving skills from an early age.
“The Montessori system is about the child learning by doing. We have materials that the child will use, and through that the child is able to learn,” Prof. Alatinga explained.
He said the school is committed to providing children with a strong educational foundation by making learning practical, engaging and relevant to their development.
Prof. Alatinga further disclosed that the school is working towards becoming a STEM-focused institution, with plans to establish partnerships with institutions locally and internationally to enhance the quality of education offered.
According to him, learning materials have already been provided to support the school’s Montessori-based teaching methods and create an environment where children can explore and develop their skills.
“We want to make sure that the children have the opportunity to learn, to explore and to develop their skills from a very early age,” he stated.
The founder also said the school charges moderate fees and has flexible payment arrangements to support parents and guardians who may not be able to settle the full fees at once.
Located at Nayagnia in Navrongo, Angels of Excellence Montessori School is positioning itself as an institution focused on equipping children with the knowledge, skills and values needed for their future.
