Builsa North MP supports Kpandema bridge construction with GHC 10,000
MP donates GH¢10,000 to support community-led bridge project in Kpandema
The Member of Parliament for Builsa North, James Agalga, has donated GHC 10,000 to support the construction of the Kpandema Bridge, reaffirming his commitment to addressing the infrastructural needs of his constituents.
The donation, presented on Friday by the Deputy Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency, Thomas Agoalisui, together with some coordinators from Wiaga, was warmly received by community members.
Agoalisui assured residents that the MP remains dedicated to tackling pressing challenges across the constituency.
He commended the unity and determination of the people of Kpandema, noting that their collective effort toward development is a model for other communities.
Agoalisui reminded the gathering that in 2024, the MP had already contributed GHC 5,000 credits toward the bridge project. He urged residents to exercise patience, explaining that Agalga is working diligently to secure a contractor to deliver a permanent solution.

“The MP is fully committed to addressing the needs of residents across the constituency, and this donation is a demonstration of that commitment.” Agoalisui stated.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the community, Chief Nab Sunday Akaboka expressed deep gratitude to the MP for his continued support.
He highlighted the longstanding struggle of residents, who since 2016 have relied on makeshift wooden structures to cross the river.
The chief emphasized that such temporary measures are no longer sustainable, hence the community’s decision to mobilize resources for a concrete bridge.
Chief Akaboka described the MP’s intervention as timely and crucial, adding that the bridge will not only ease transportation but also boost economic and social activities in the area.
