Dr. Joshua Akuu calls for urgent development of Chuchuliga
Australia-based native appeals for unity in driving development
Dr. Joshua Akuu, a native of Chuchuliga currently based in Australia, has made a passionate appeal for urgent development in his home community, describing it as the gateway to the entire Builsa Traditional Area.
According to Dr. Akuu, the strategic location of Chuchuliga makes it a critical entry point into the Builsa Traditional Area and therefore deserves serious development attention from both local and national authorities.
He called on the government, the Builsa North Municipal Assembly, and the area’s Member of Parliament to intervene urgently to improve living conditions in the community.
Speaking on Mike FM’s current affairs programme, Tengomisiyerika Dalong, on Sunday May 10, Dr. Akuu lamented the lack of essential social amenities in Chuchuliga.
He cited poor road networks, inadequate access to potable water, unreliable electricity supply, and limited employment opportunities for the youth as major challenges hindering the development of the area.
Dr. Akuu further appealed to stakeholders and opinion leaders within the Builsa Traditional Area to unite and advocate for accelerated development in Chuchuliga and its surrounding communities.
He stressed that investing in the development of Chuchuliga would not only improve the lives of residents but also contribute significantly to the overall progress of the Builsa Traditional Area.
