Kacstone Records renovates Navrongo Divisional Police Station
Kacstone Records funds refurbishment of the Navrongo Divisional Police Station, improving the facility and working environment for officers.
Kacstone Records has renovated and handed over a Police office to the Navrongo Divisional Police Command as part of its philanthropic commitment to supporting public institutions and community development.
The renovated facility was commissioned on Monday, August 31, following extensive refurbishment works aimed at improving the condition and appearance of the divisional headquarters.
The renovation included repairs to leaking roofs, damaged ceiling boards, and both interior and exterior sections of the building. A standard roadside signpost was also installed to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the police station.
The intervention followed an appeal by the Command to improve the physical image of the office to reflect the professional standards and unique brand of the Ghana Police Service.
The Navrongo Divisional Police Station serves four district police commands under the division, namely Navrongo, Sandema, Paga and Fumbisi.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Navrongo Divisional Police Commander, ACP Daniel Anane Amoah, expressed profound gratitude to Kacstone Records for fully funding the renovation project.
He noted that the facility had previously been in a poor condition and said the transformation would provide a more conducive working environment for officers.
The Managing Director of Kacstone Records and lead philanthropist, Wenawome Duriyem Aborah, said the initiative was inspired by the belief that community development is a shared responsibility and encouraged individuals and corporate bodies to contribute towards the growth of their communities.
He further appealed for increased police personnel and logistics to strengthen security, particularly in border communities such as Navrongo, Paga and Sandema.
A senior police officer, Commander Obiri, also commended Kacstone Records for the gesture, describing the intervention as a demonstration of the growing confidence and support the public continues to show the Ghana Police Service.
Some community members who witnessed the ceremony expressed appreciation to Wenawome Duriyem Aborah and Kacstone Records, describing them as God-sent and praising their continued commitment to supporting public institutions and improving lives within the community.
