Moses Amoah challenges NDC to match campaign promises with development in Navrongo Central

Former NPP Navrongo Central Secretary Moses Amoah has urged the NDC government to fulfil its 2024 campaign promises by completing stalled projects and delivering tangible development to residents.

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Secretary for the Navrongo Central Constituency, Moses Amoah, has challenged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to match its campaign promises with tangible development in the constituency.

Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Tuesday, August 25, Amoah said the government must prioritise key development projects in Navrongo Central while fulfilling the promises it made to residents during the 2024 election campaign.

He cited the Navrongo Youth Resource Centre, the ultramodern theatre at the War Memorial Hospital and road projects as some of the key developments requiring urgent attention.

According to him, the focus should not be on why the previous NPP administration could not complete projects it initiated, but rather on what the current government is doing to complete them, particularly after campaigning on a promise to improve the lives of Ghanaians.

“For us, the people of Navrongo generally, whether you belong to a party or not, we are interested in the execution of these key projects.”

Amoah said development projects should not be abandoned or neglected because they were initiated by a previous administration, stressing that such projects are meant to serve residents regardless of their political affiliation.

He therefore appealed to the Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, the Regional Minister and the leadership of the NDC to prioritise the completion of the Navrongo Youth Resource Centre and other stalled projects in the constituency.

He further urged the government to ensure that its campaign commitments are translated into visible development, while continuing projects inherited from the previous administration.

Amoah maintained that the interests of residents must take precedence over partisan considerations, adding that the ultimate measure of any government should be its ability to deliver meaningful development to the people.
