Navrongo Central NDC Constituency elections among best in Party’s history – Kodaane

Godfred Kodaane praises the NDC’s Navrongo Central constituency elections, urging defeated aspirants to unite behind the new executives as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.

The Deputy Director of Elections and IT and a member of the communications team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Navrongo Central Constituency, Godfred Kodaane, has praised the conduct of the party’s recently concluded constituency elections, describing them as among the best in the party’s history in the area.

Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Wednesday October 28, Kodaane said the high number of candidates who contested various positions and the calibre of executives elected demonstrated the party members’ readiness to serve and strengthen the NDC ahead of the 2028 general elections.

“This is one of the best elections the NDC has ever had in Navrongo Central. The crop of leaders the delegates have elected should put fear in the NPP,” he said.

He described the election of the new executives as the beginning of the party’s preparations for the 2028 general elections, expressing confidence that the new leadership would provide effective administration to improve the party’s electoral prospects.

Kodaane said the party was prepared to demonstrate effective leadership and communicate its achievements to residents to earn their trust and support in future elections.

He commended the large number of candidates who participated in the constituency elections, noting that their involvement reflected the willingness of party members to take up leadership responsibilities and contribute to the party’s development.

He also appealed to candidates who lost the elections and their supporters to put the outcome behind them and support the newly elected executives in the collective interest of the party.

Turning to the performance of the NDC government under President John Dramani Mahama, Kodaane said the administration was committed to implementing its Resetting Agenda across various sectors of the economy.

He cited development projects in the constituency as evidence of the government’s efforts to improve the lives of residents.

Kodaane urged residents to maintain confidence in the government and support its efforts to fulfil its promises and promote development in the constituency.
