In a bid to alleviate water challenges faced by school children, the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Sky Hotel and Bolgatanga based BlueWaves Radio, COP Patrick Akolgo (Rtd), has commissioned a newly constructed borehole for the Tindonmolgo Primary School in the Bolgatanga Municipality.
The hand pump borehole, fully funded by the retired Commissioner of Police, was handed over during a brief ceremony attended by school authorities, community leaders, and pupils.
The project was initiated following a request made by the Assembly Member and Tindana of the area weeks earlier.

Speaking at the commissioning, COP Akolgo (Rtd) said the decision to construct the borehole stemmed from a compelling account given by the local authorities about the difficulties pupils endure to access drinking water during school hours.
COP Akolgo (Rtd) noted that ensuring access to safe drinking water is vital to the well-being and academic performance of students.

The borehole at Tindonmolgo Primary adds to a growing list of similar projects spearheaded by COP Akolgo (Rtd) in schools and communities across the Upper East Region.
Community leaders and school staff expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, highlighting its immediate impact on the lives of the pupils and the broader community.
