NDC’s Akwatia by-election win a result of positive governance – Carl Maadi

Maadi expressed excitement over the outcome of the polls, describing it as a reflection of the people’s confidence in the government’s performance.

Carl Maadi, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Team for the Navrongo Central Constituency, has attributed the party’s victory in the Akwatia by-election to the positive impact of the NDC government since assuming office in 2025.

Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Wednesday, September 3, Maadi expressed excitement over the outcome of the polls, describing it as a reflection of the people’s confidence in the government’s performance.

“I guess you know why I am wearing green today, it is because Akwatia is green. This victory came because the people of Akwatia are reasonable, and they see the development and the trajectory that the NDC is taking this country to.”

According to him, the results of the by-election prove that the electorate appreciates the government’s efforts to restore stability and enforce the rule of law.

“You can see from every indication that the country is being reset, laws are working, and that is why they have given the NDC the mandate to come and do more for Akwatia.” he added.

Maadi dismissed suggestions that the victory was merely due to the party being in power, insisting that it was rather the direct result of good governance and visible progress.

With the seat now secured, he assured that both the NDC and the newly elected Member of Parliament would remain focused on delivering policies and projects to improve the lives of the people of Akwatia.
