Simon Aworigo partners GES to roll out BECE mock exams for final year students in Navrongo
The initiative forms part of broader efforts by the MP’s office and education stakeholders to improve academic performance and strengthen education in the Navrongo Central Constituency.
The Office of the Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, Simon Akibange Aworigo, has announced the commencement of a comprehensive Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) mock exercise for final-year Junior High School students across the constituency.
The initiative, announced via his official social media page, is being organized in partnership with the Kassena-Nankana Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The mock examinations are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, and will run through Monday, March 30, 2026.
The lawmaker said the mock examination is designed to rigorously prepare candidates, helping them build the confidence required to excel in the final examination.
“These exams will cover all essential subjects to help our students sharpen their skills, identify areas for improvement, and build immense confidence ahead of the main BECE.”
Aworigo urged students to approach the mock examination with seriousness and dedication, describing it as a critical step toward academic success.
“To all our candidates: I encourage you to take this mock exam seriously and give it your absolute best. This is a stepping stone to your ultimate success.” He said

The MP recently launched the 2026 Independence Day Essay Competition, following a successful first edition last year. This comes after a donation of sanitary pads to female students in the constituency, as well as an earlier donation of 200 dual desks to the Education Directorate in January.
