Teddy Kwolaga Addah denies stepping down from NDC Navrongo Central Secretary race
NDC Navrongo Central Constituency Secretary hopeful Teddy John Kwolaga Addah says reports of his withdrawal from the October elections are false and politically motivated.
Assembly Member for the Nogsenia Electoral Area and Constituency Secretary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Navrongo Central, Teddy John Kwolaga Addah, has dismissed reports that he has withdrawn from the upcoming constituency elections.
In a statement issued on September 1, Addah described the reports as “malicious and entirely false,” insisting that he remains fully committed to contesting the Constituency Secretary position in the October elections.
He said the rumour was political propaganda intended to create confusion among party members and undermine his campaign, adding that he remains “more energized than ever” to see the campaign through.
Addah said his decision to contest is backed by eight years of experience as a Branch Communication Officer, during which he worked closely with grassroots members of the party.
He said his current role as Assembly Member for the Nogsenia Electoral Area has further strengthened his experience in transparent, accountable and responsible leadership, which he intends to bring to the NDC constituency secretariat.
The Constituency Secretary hopeful said his campaign remains focused on engaging all 130 branches and 1,170 delegates, with a message centred on unity, competence and strengthening the party’s organisational structures.
He urged NDC executives, branch members, supporters and the general public to disregard reports suggesting that he has withdrawn from the race.
Addah called for discipline and unity among party members as the constituency prepares for the October elections, saying his campaign would remain focused on securing a victory.
“The work continues, and victory is certain,” he stated.
