The Bolga-Soe community has been crowned winners of the 18th edition of the Upper East Ramadan Soccer Fiesta after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bukere.
The win marks Bolga-Soe’s second title since the inception of the tournament, following their first triumph in 2016.
The only goal of the game came in the early minutes of the first half, courtesy of Ayamga Francis.
In addition to lifting the trophy, Bolga-Soe also secured several individual awards. Ayamga Francis was named Best Player of the tournament, while his teammate Mohammed Laawal emerged as Best Goalkeeper. The Best Coach award went to Francis Bawumia, popularly known as Markiya Coach of Bolga-Soe.

The Top Scorer (Goal King) award, however, went to Jacob Afanre of Bukere, while the Best Behaviour award was presented to the D-Line Community Team.
All 16 participating communities received a set of jerseys from sponsors, including Madam Charity and Engineers and Planners Company Limited.
The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, also donated a football to each community and provided four sets of jerseys to the teams that reached the semi-final stage. He further presented GH¢10,000.00 to the organizers and promised additional rewards for the champions and first runner-up, as well as appearance fees for all participating communities.
