Interior Ministry opens recruitment for Police, Prisons, Fire, and Immigration Services  

According to a public notice issued by the Ministry on Tuesday November 4, the recruitment process will run from 15th November to 15th December 2025.

The Ministry of the Interior has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment exercise for four key security agencies, the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.

According to a public notice issued by the Ministry on Tuesday November 4, the recruitment process will run from 15th November to 15th December 2025.

The Ministry explained that the exercise forms part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s internal security architecture.

“This nationwide recruitment exercise forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Ghana’s internal security architecture, enhance public safety, and promote effective service delivery across all security agencies.”

It further encouraged suitably qualified, disciplined, and patriotic Ghanaian citizens who desire to serve the nation with integrity, professionalism, and dedication to submit their applications within the stated period.

The statement emphasized that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited for screening, aptitude tests, and background verification, and cautioned the public against engaging individuals or groups who may claim they can influence the recruitment process for a fee.

“Applicants are cautioned not to deal with individuals or groups who claim they can influence the recruitment process for a fee. The Ministry of the Interior and its Agencies do not charge any fee at any stage of the exercise.”

The notice from the Ministry also warned that applicants who submit false or forged documents, or engage middlemen at any stage, will be disqualified and may face prosecution.

Meanwhile, the ministry will soon announce the application mode to the general public.
