James Agalga supports Muslim Community in Builsa North with Ramadan donation

The items comprising 30 bags of sugar, 22 cartons of Ideal milk, and 240 boxes of Bon tea will be distributed to various mosques and Muslim households across the constituency to help ease the burden on families observing the fast.

The Member of Parliament for Builsa North, James Agalga, has donated assorted food items to the Muslim community in the constituency to support them during the holy month of Ramadan.

The donation was presented on his behalf by a delegation of party executives led by the Builsa North Municipal Chief Executive, Solomon Akogti Ansoabayie. The team included the NDC Constituency Chairman, James Achaab; Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Abubu Imoro; Constituency Secretary, Emmanuel Ayamboliba; Constituency Organizer, Samuel Abiayega; and other party members.

The items comprising 30 bags of sugar, 22 cartons of Ideal milk, and 240 boxes of Bon tea will be distributed to various mosques and Muslim households across the constituency to help ease the burden on families observing the fast.

Community members described the donation as timely and significant, noting that it would assist Muslim families with essential provisions for iftar, the evening meal used to break the fast during the sacred period of prayer and reflection.

Speaking during the presentation, Zongo Caucus Coordinator Abubu Imoro said the MP remains committed to the welfare of all constituents, regardless of their religious background, and recognizes the importance of Ramadan to the Muslim community.

According to him, the gesture reflects Agalga’s people-centred leadership and his continuous support for cultural and religious communities within Builsa North.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, the Builsa North Municipal Chief Imam, Osman Alkali, expressed gratitude to the MP and prayed for his continued success.

He described the donation as a demonstration of the strong relationship between the MP and the Zongo community.
