Kacstone records supports Paga Senior High with vehicle batteries and a 40,000-cedi volleyball court project
Managing Director of Kacstone Records, Wenawome Aborah, presented the items on behalf of Michael Adangba and urged the school authorities to use them for the benefit of the entire school community.
Culturally enthusiastic record label, Kacstone Records, has supported Paga Senior High School in the Kassena-Nankana West District by donating two car batteries for the school’s bus and pickup vehicle, which had been grounded for months, and by initiating the construction of a volleyball court.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the label purchased the batteries, valued at 5,500 cedis, to address the school’s transportation challenges. It also began constructing a standard volleyball court for sporting activities, estimated to cost 40,000 cedis.

Managing Director of Kacstone Records, Wenawome Aborah, presented the items on behalf of Michael Adangba and urged the school authorities to use them for the benefit of the entire school community.
Aborah explained that the donation reflects the label’s recognition of education as a key driver of development and encouraged management to strengthen its culture of maintenance to safeguard school property.
“It has been a challenge for the school since the cars are not motorable again due to the batteries. As a company, we know the importance of education to the development of society. Since the government cannot do everything alone, we have stepped in to help.” He said.

He also renewed calls for government to absorb the school into the boarding system, reconstruct the girls’ dormitory that was destroyed by fire in 2021, and complete the E-block project in the school.
“We are calling on the government as a matter of urgency to absorb the school into the boarding system so they can enjoy other facilities. Also, the E-block project is about 90% complete. We urge the government not to relent in completing the project.” He added.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the school, Headteacher Isaac Kweku Boena said the intervention will help address pressing transportation challenges. He expressed gratitude to Kacstone Records and pledged the judicious use of the items for the benefit of the school.
Boena further highlighted the need for additional infrastructure to enhance formal education in the district, noting that the school’s day status has contributed to a sharp decline in enrolment.
“Enrolment was reduced from over 800 to less than 400 students because of the school’s day status. I urge the authorities to help us secure boarding status to ensure the growth and development of the school.” He said.
