The items, procured by PAYOM member Rebecca Kunipaga Kubakwaale, include wheelchairs, walking aids, urine drainage bags, catheters, dressing pads, transfer belts, Aro chambers, disposable aprons, needles, face masks, and other vital supplies.

The Paga Youth Movement (PAYOM) has donated essential medical equipment to the Kassena Nankana West District Hospital to support quality healthcare delivery in the district. The donation was made on Tuesday, December 2, at a brief ceremony in Paga.

The items, procured by PAYOM member Rebecca Kunipaga Kubakwaale, include wheelchairs, walking aids, urine drainage bags, catheters, dressing pads, transfer belts, Aro chambers, disposable aprons, needles, face masks, and other vital supplies.

Presenting the equipment, PAYOM Vice Chairman Fredrick Wugaah Awovere said the gesture was informed by the hospital’s expressed needs and the movement’s commitment to community welfare.

“We came here with Rebecca Bawah Kunipaga, who has been following developments in this hospital and is aware of the challenges you face. She mobilized these items to support the facility.” He stated.

He encouraged the hospital to put the equipment to effective use to enhance healthcare delivery for residents.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Monica Koole expressed profound appreciation for the gesture.

“On behalf of the team and the entire Kassena Nankana West District Hospital, I express our gratitude for this donation. We promise to make good use of it for the benefit of our people, and we hope more support will come in the future.” She said.

In a related development, Rebecca Kunipaga also donated a first aid box to PAYOM. The box will serve as an emergency response resource during public events organized by the movement.

Additionally, Godfred Atiga Awampaga presented two football trophies to PAYOM ahead of its upcoming inter-community football games. He said the competition would foster unity and create networking opportunities among young people, hence his support.
