Regentropfen University College to close January–February admissions in the second week of February

Prospective applicants have been advised to take advantage of the remaining days to complete their admission process and secure what the institution describes as a first-class academic experience in a serene learning environment.

The first admission window for Regentropfen University College, located in Bongo in the Upper East Region, will close in the second week of February, management has announced.

Prospective applicants have been advised to take advantage of the remaining days to complete their admission process and secure what the institution describes as a first-class academic experience in a serene learning environment.

The institution, widely described as a beacon of change and development, is affiliated with the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale. It offers a range of programmes across its five faculties and departments, including the Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences, Department of Business Studies, Department of Education, Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Agriculture and Social Change.

Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Friday, January 30, 2026, the school’s Marketing and Admissions Coordinator, Mathew Adda, explained that the institution operates two admission windows each year, the January–February window and the August–September window.

Currently, we are still giving admissions for the January–February window. Admissions will be closed in the second week of February. Applicants need to obtain an e-voucher, fill out the online form, and it is automatically submitted to our end.” He said.

He added that applicants who meet the entry requirements are contacted promptly and often offered admission immediately.

“Once you meet the requirements, we call you and offer you admission. In most cases, we give instant admission as much as possible.” He noted.

Adda further disclosed that the university college offers flexible study options for working professionals and runs scholarship schemes to support less-endowed but qualified students.

“Since the establishment of the school, we have operated a financial model that includes scholarship schemes to support students who are financially challenged but still wish to pursue higher education. Each year, we offer scholarship opportunities through a competitive scholarship examination,” he explained.

Also speaking on the programme, the school’s Facility and Procurement Manager, Daniel Tanti, revealed that the institution has exchange programmes with partner universities abroad.

There are instances where some of our students are allowed to pursue one or two courses outside Ghana through our partner universities overseas.” He stated.

Management further indicated that the school provides flexible fee payment arrangements to help ease the financial burden on students.

Established in 2016 as Regentropfen College of Applied Sciences (ReCAS) and later upgraded to Regentropfen University College, the institution is accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and remains affiliated with the University for Development Studies (UDS).
