The event, which was held at the Paga Town Park, drew thousands of fans from across Ghana and neighbouring Burkina Faso.
Legendary Ghanaian contemporary musician Michael Adangba over the weekend held his much-anticipated music festival in Paga, just a few days after surviving a near-death accident on the Accra–Kumasi highway.
The music festival marked Michael Adangba’s first-ever performance in the northern part of the country. The event, which was held at the Paga Town Park, drew thousands of fans from across Ghana and neighbouring Burkina Faso.

Music artistes from Ghana and Burkina Faso, including Mary Azubam, Anthony Zunga, Kayah Bu, Marcel, and Nono Ouambatoua, took turns thrilling the huge crowd. Other performers on the night included Gyata Elibu, Alice Aditua, Acxionboi, Rapcha, FaseTwo, and Atimbila.
Adangba, the music legend himself, later took over the stage to thrill fans with live renditions of both his recent and classic hit songs. He later honoured and eulogized other legendary music artistes from Ghana and Burkina Faso with citations.
Pre-event Activities
Ahead of the music festival, Kacstone Records, the management of Michael Adangba, organized a clean-up exercise in Paga, which saw residents join efforts to rid the town of filth.
The company also organized a health walk through the major streets of Paga and later provided free medical screening for residents.
These pre-event activities paved the way for a highly successful festival, with many fans now calling for it to be made an annual event.
