GES Director General commiserates with Dr. Clement Apaak on loss of Father

As part of the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Regional Director of Education (RDE), where the he interacted with management and key education stakeholders, including representatives of CHASS and TEWU.

The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES),Professor Ernest Davis and his team, paid a visit to the region to commiserate with Dr. Clement Abasnab Apaak, Deputy Minister of Education following the passing of his father, Pastor John Azundeem Apaak.

As part of the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Regional Director of Education (RDE), where the he interacted with management and key education stakeholders, including representatives of CHASS and TEWU.

The RDE briefed him on preparations toward the burial scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, and informed him of items donated earlier to the family on behalf of GES.

The Director-General later interacted with staff of the Regional Education Office, urging them to uphold integrity and describing teaching as a sacred profession. He also reaffirmed his commitment to improving the welfare of both teaching and non-teaching staff.

The delegation later visited the family house, where additional donations were presented to the bereaved family.
