Builsa South DCE Inspects Progress of Gbedema–Wiaga Road Project

The inspection aimed to assess progress and ensure quality work as construction resumes on the critical road project expected to improve transportation and boost economic activities in the district.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Builsa South District, Anne Musah, has inspected ongoing construction works on the Gbedema–Wiaga stretch of the Chuchuliga–Sandema–Fumbisi–Wiesi road, just a week after the project resumed.

The visit, which took place on Wednesday, April 15 forms part of the district assembly’s efforts to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets the required standards. During the inspection.

The DCE interacted with the contractor and workers on site, expressing satisfaction with the pace of work while urging them to maintain both quality and momentum.

The resumption of construction on the critical road has renewed hope among residents, who have long advocated for its completion to ease transportation challenges and stimulate economic activity.

Residents have welcomed the renewed attention to the project, noting that its completion will significantly enhance access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.
