“The road is very important to the people of Builsa South. We will ensure it is fully completed to connect our communities and boost economic activities.” Dr. Apaak said.

The General Manager of My Turn Company Limited, Donald Yeribu, explained that work on the road had stalled due to a contract re-evaluation process.

He noted that although the re-evaluation is not yet fully completed, it has progressed sufficiently to allow the company to return to the site and resume active construction.

Yeribu firmly rejected suggestions from the residents to the President to replace the My -Turn Company due to the delay, expressing confidence in his company’s capability.

“My-Turn Company Limited has what it takes to construct this road to the highest standard, provided all outstanding challenges are addressed.” He stated.

He added that the entire Chuchuliga-Sandema-Fumbisi-Wiesi road project has been placed under the company’s responsibility to enable it to be executed in workable sections, given the urgent need to improve the road network.

Yeribu assured residents of the company’s full commitment to completing the project on time to ease the long-standing suffering of commuters and residents.

Residents and road users who gathered for the event expressed gratitude to the MP and the government for ensuring the resumption of the project, noting that the road, when completed, will significantly ease transportation challenges and boost economic activities in the district.
