Simon Aworigo pays working visit to Kassena-Nankana MCE for joint inspection of DACF projects
The exercise seeks to assess ongoing and completed DACF-funded projects in the constituency while promoting accountability, transparency, and effective monitoring of government-funded development initiatives.
Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, Simon Aworigo, has paid a working visit to the Municipal Chief Executive of the Kasena-Nankana Municipal Assembly, Hon. Faustina Akiyom Abulu, to undertake a joint inspection of development projects within the constituency.
According to the post shared on the MP’s page on April 13, the visit is aimed at assessing projects funded through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), covering both ongoing and completed initiatives across the Navrongo Central Constituency.
“This exercise forms part of my parliamentary oversight responsibility to monitor government projects and ensure value for money for our people,” he stated in the post.
He further emphasized that the initiative is geared towards promoting accountability and transparency while ensuring that development projects deliver tangible benefits.
“Our focus remains accountability, transparency, and delivering the reset agenda,” he added.
The joint inspection is expected to strengthen collaboration between the MP and the Municipal Assembly and enhance effective monitoring of projects in the constituency.
