Liberty Stars will now progress to the highly anticipated Middle League alongside Paga Crocodiles Stars from Zone 3. They will be joined by Zorko United and Bongo Beo Samba Stars from Zone 1, as well as Bolga Soccer Masters and Berekum City from Zone 2.

Bolga Soccer Masters and Zorko United also played their respective coronation matches against Bolga-Soe Stoppers and GFA U-15 Academy Team.

At the coronation ceremony, Liberty Stars were presented with a trophy and medals in recognition of their achievement and qualification to the next stage.

The event was graced by key football administrators in the region, including the Chairman of the Upper East Regional Football Association, Salifu Shaibu Zida, the Upper East Regional Referees Association Chairman, Tijaini, and Executive Council member Nicolas Ayine Ayida.

The Upper East Regional Football Association is yet to announce the official date for the Middle League competition. The winner of the Middle League will secure qualification to the National Division One League, where Bolga All Stars currently stands as the region’s sole representative.

Should Bolga All Stars maintain their status in the National Division One League, it would mark the second time two clubs from the Upper East Region compete at that level, the first being during the 2015/2016 season when Bolga All Stars featured alongside Tanga FC.
