President Mahama makes ministerial changes
Pelpuo Moves to Special Initiatives as Agyekum Takes Over Labour Ministry
President John Dramani Mahama has announced further changes to his government, including the reassignment of two ministers and a deputy minister.
In a statement issued by the Presidency on Wednesday, August 26, Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo was reassigned as Minister of State for Special Initiatives.
He is replaced as Minister for Labour, Employment and Job Creation by Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum.

The President has also reassigned Deputy Minister for Defence, Ernest Brogya Genfi, to serve as Presidential Advisor on National Resilience and Emergency Preparedness.
The Presidency said the reassignments take immediate effect.
