Mike FM launches weekly Buli current affairs programme for Buluk
Buli Tengomisiyerika Dalong will focus on a wide range of topics including social, political, environmental, educational and cultural matters, with the aim of promoting informed public discourse and community participation.
Residents in the Builsa area will from May 10, 2026, enjoy a new indigenous-language weekly current affairs programme following the launch of Buli Tengomisiyerika Dalong by Mike 105.3 FM in Navrongo.
The newly introduced programme, which will air every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, is designed to serve as a platform for discussing issues affecting the people of Buluk and amplify the voices of the wider Builsa communities.
Buli Tengomisiyerika Dalong will focus on a wide range of topics including social, political, environmental, educational and cultural matters, with the aim of promoting informed public discourse and community participation.
The programme will be hosted by experiencesd Broadcast Journalist Edmond Bakwebayia Kwaching, noted for his understanding of issues in the Buluk area through his extensive media work.

Speaking on the introduction of the programme, the General Manager of Mike 105.3 FM, Castro Senyalah, said the initiative forms part of the station’s commitment to informing, educating and entertaining its cherished listeners in Buluk and its coverage areas.
According to him, the programme will also provide an opportunity for residents to express their thoughts and opinions on issues affecting their communities.
He noted that the station believes community-based discussions in local languages remain essential in promoting development, accountability and social cohesion.
